WHAT'S RED, WHITE AND BEAUTIFUL AND TOURING THE WORLD?

Miss Canadiana, a creation of Camille Turner, a Toronto based media and performance artist, wears a tiara, sash and gown, and inserts herself into various Canadian and international locations where she engages the unsuspecting public and records the sometimes surprising results on camera.

Miss Canadiana has appeared in festivals and public events worldwide. Countries visited include: Senegal, UK, Australia, Germany and Mexico. She has made appearances in Canadian cities across the country. Upcoming appearances incude: Halifax, North Preston, St. John's, Lethbridge, Banff and Calgary.

Miss Canadiana is available for appearances, screenings, talks and exhibitions.

The artist is grateful for the support of Canada Council for the Arts, Ontario Arts Council and Toronto Arts Council.
