Dream Space is a sonic portal inviting participants into a world in which the dream of liberation has been achieved. It was commissioned for the traveling exhibition of the 36th Bienal de São Paulo held from September 6, 2025 - January 11, 2026. In addition to its physical presentation, a virtual version of Dream Space is presented via a digital program called Apparitions, which reimagines artworks from the biennial as echoes that appear in various selected sites around the world via an app called WAVA.

Dream Space in Berlin at Tiergarten from September 11 - December 6 2026. 

Dream Space at Mercado Modelo in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil until December 31 2026. Salvador was the first port trading in enslaved Africans in the Americas. The Mercado Modelo, located here, was the location of the customs house where captives were delivered and sold.

Dream Space at The Slave Market Museum (Mercado de Escravos) in Lagos, Portugal until December 31 2026. Established in 1444 Lagos, Portugal, is a museum housed on the former site of Europe's first market trading in enslaved Africans. Portugal was responsible for shipping 4.9 million people from Western Africa to Brazil. 

Dream Space at National Slavery Museum Luanda, Angola until December 31 2026. Luanda was the most prolific port for the trade of enslaved Africans, supplying approximately 10,000 to Brazil every year. This building was a market where the trade in human flesh took place.
